The SGA has been in contact with Scottish Government regarding when the part of the Bill regarding traps is to be enacted, and will alert people as soon as this is known.
At that point, it will be illegal to set a spring trap or wild bird (corvid) trap without having undertaken an approved course. It remains essential, therefore, that you are proactive in booking your trap training.
Our hard working Training Centre teams have also delivered 167 successful courses in Use of Thermal and Night Vision for Wildlife Management, a LANTRA-approved course pioneered by the SGA.
