At the SGA Training Centre, our priority is to ensure members and non-members alike have the skills to undertake their roles in an assured and competent fashion.

Deer Competence

DSC1 Course – Please email DMQ@scottishgamekeepers.co.uk to register interest and to be booked on to a course

Muirburn

Muirburn Practitioner Foundation Level

This course is designed for those who will take part in land management activities that use fire as a tool.  You will learn the requirements of the Muirburn Code and the practical skills that will allow them to use the equipment and techniques to safely apply fire as a land management technique as part of a supervised team.

A two-part LANTRA accredited course.  The first part is an eLearning module which you must successfully pass before taking the one day practical course.

Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry 1 day course

We run open Emergency First Aid +F courses around the country every week and cover whole of Scotland. Min 4 max 12 on a course

Remote and Rural Emergency First Aid at Work 1 day course

We can offer the Rural Emergency First Aid at Work course and tailored to suite estate and farm workers.

Remote and Rural First Aid at Work 3-day course

3 days. Maximum 12 People on Course

Remote and Rural First Aid at Work renewal 2-day course

2 days as a renewal course if everyone has a current FAW Qualification. Maximum 12 People on Course

Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry Refresher

Group bookings possible for this course.
