The Bill extends the ground to which the 16AA grouse licensing provisions are applicable, beyond the area where grouse are simply ‘taken’.
This means that, should a relevant offence take place outside of the area where grouse are taken but within an area which the authorities reasonably believe management for grouse is taking place, then this offence could lead to the revocation of a 16AA licence.
