It is also fundamental if we are to balance the needs of species and their conservation and also to navigate human/species conflicts which can occur.
The SGA advocates for working and accessible species licensing mechanisms that get the balance right. Species licensing also takes on greater significance when there is a Nature Emergency and we run the risk of losing more iconic species.
