Moy Country Fair 2023 - all you need to know

It’s that time again!

Team SGA will be hoping to dodge road closures for the UCI Cycling World Championships in order to travel north from the Perth HQ to set up the SGA stand today at Moy Country Fair.

On Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August, we’ll be welcoming old friends and new, members and visitors to our ‘home’ for 2 days.

There will be awards and a new film and  - most importantly - the opportunity to meet with you, the members, and get the latest from your corner of the world.

A major highlight of Friday will be the presentation of the Ronnie Rose award for conservation and education which will take place in our tent at 11am.

Please come along for the presentation, with a very special individual (who may be known to you) receiving the 2023 prize. All are welcome.

To find out more about the Ronnie Rose award, go to:

Members of the Rose family have already endorsed this year’s winner and passed on good wishes for the impending announcement.

There will also be a presentation of an SGA Long Service award for over 40 years of unbroken service to the profession.

These presentations will conclude the 2023 SGA awards season, with the first awards presented earlier this summer at GWCT Scottish Game Fair, see here:

Special member offer

There will be the usual refreshments and home bakes as well as warm hospitality, information, merchandise and the ability to join or renew memberships.

Partners CIC, who will be with us on the stand, are also offering a great member discount for those looking to have trophies evaluated. SGA members, with a valid membership card, can have their first evaluation FREE of CHARGE, with discounts available thereafter.

Even more good news: BBC are saying light rain showers amidst general sunshine on Friday so see you there.
