Roles and Responsibilities
An amazing opportunity to join the team at Badanloch Estate set in the stunning Scottish Highlands.
This is a unique position for a dedicated and hands-on candidate to manage The Lodge and additional self-catering holiday cottage. This role will entail overseeing the day to day running of the lodge ensuring exceptional presentation, guest experience, housekeeping, cooking and maintaining smooth operation of all hospitality services.
The above aspects are most prominent particularly during the sporting season but in the off season many duties including deep cleaning, maintenance and general preparation for the following season will be required.

There is also opportunity if the candidate has a partner for a role in maintenance at Badanloch Estate. The responsibilities of this role will be to assist in general property maintenance including the lodge and other residential properties, agricultural buildings and groundskeeping. This person will also be expected to assist the farm and gamekeeping staff with maintaining agricultural fencing, estate tracks, basic machinery maintenance and during busy periods of the sporting season providing support to the head stalker with various tasks.

The remote Badanloch Estate situated in Sutherland, Scotland provides exceptional fishing opportunities on the River Helmsdale as well as vast brown trout fishing across estate lochs. The scenic landscape of Badanloch also offers excellent deer stalking throughout the season. All of these activities are enjoyed by guests who stay in Badanloch lodge and the Shepherds Cottage holiday home which results in busy periods for housekeeping and estate staff throughout the season. As well as sporting pursuits the estate is also home to our well established North Country Cheviot flock.
