A rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and hardworking Underkeeper
to join a beautiful private Highland estate in Scotland.
Working alongside the Head Keeper, the
successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day management of the estate, including wildlife
conservation, habitat maintenance, predator control, and general estate duties. This role would suit
someone passionate about the countryside and keen to develop their career in estate management and
gamekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with Partridge, Pheasant, deer, and
general estate management
Vermin and predator control in line with best practice and
legislation
Maintenance of tracks, fencing, and estate infrastructure
Supporting conservation and
habitat improvement projects
Operating and maintaining estate vehicles and equipment
Requirements
Previous gamekeeping or countryside experience
preferred
Full UK driving licence
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part
of a team
Respect for wildlife, conservation, and rural traditions
Firearms certificates
beneficial but not essential
