Experienced Gamekeeper Required

An experienced Gamekeeper is required to join the Lochinch Shoot, to assist with the management of the sporting on this high quality Estate.

This is a single handed position with extra help available when required.

The Lochinch Shoot is part of Stair Estates in South West Scotland and encompasses a wide variety of habitat supporting deerstalking (Red and Roe), rough and driven shooting.  Shoot days are both commercial and private with the opportunity for expansion.

• The Candidate needs to be a team player, with the ability to assist in hosting shoot days, manage a beaters line, and maintain records as required.
• The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with the local community, farm tenants, and the wider Estate team.
• The position requires you to have active working dogs, Shotgun Certificate, Firearms Certificate, minimum DSC Level 1 and a full Driving Licence. Training will be available if required for chainsaw, ATV, etc.
• The candidate should be an active and enthusiastic vermin controller, and have a good working knowledge of all relevant laws.
• Part time work may be available for a partner.

A centrally heated 3/4 bedroom house with 4 kennels, pension scheme and an excellent remuneration package is available, subject to experience.
