The Highland Swing is the UK’s first permanent bridge swing, that combines elements of a bungee jump and a giant swing! And Carol is taking the plunge, and will be counting on your support to raise funds for the SGA!
Before being taken to a platform beneath the Garry Bridge - approximately 131 feet above the River Garry, Carol will be fitted with a full-body harness. Upon release, she'll experience a 50-foot free fall before the swing's ropes catch, propelling her into a 165-foot arc through the picturesque Pass of Killiecrankie.
"I have a fear of heights, so this is not an event I am stepping into lightly, I am passionate about the organisation I work for and the aims they stand for. I am doing this to help raise funds for the organisation, if anyone can support the organisation by sponsoring me in doing this event it would be greatly appreciated. I realise that money can be tight for everyone, so every little counts. The funds will be used to help us continue working on behalf of our members."
