Not only will we be announcing the winner of the 2024 SGA Young Gamekeeper of the Year Award, we’ve got more news to share
At our AGM this year, we made organisational history by creating our first SGA Youth Committee
On Friday, you can hear from our young people about the journey so far
Not only will we have a speech from the youngsters, members of the Youth Committee will be on the stand each day at 10.45am to answer any questions
Know someone who might want to get into gamekeeping, deer management or river gillie-ing?
Youth Committee members will be happy to pass on tips or tell you about their personal pathway into the profession
That’s not all
The SGA Fishing Group have been busy, keeping the pressure on decision makers to do the things that salmon need, urgently
We’ll have an important announcement from the Group and members will be on the stand over the weekend to discuss all the vital river issues
Friday 5th July:
10:45am: Chairman’s welcome
10:50am: Address from the SGA Youth Committee
11:00am: Presentation of the SGA Young Gamekeeper of the Year Award, 2024
11:10am: Announcement by the SGA Fishing Group
Saturday and Sunday: Mingling with members, supporters and visitors. SGA Youth Committee members on hand, each day, from 10.45am.
