Take our 5 minute Jobs Survey - and claim a gift from the SGA

 

Dear SGA Member, we are asking you to help us by carrying out a short survey on JOBS. The deadline for responses is 3rd September and every respondent will receive a free SGA Vehicle sticker and an Anniversary SGA Pin Badge.

 

When speaking to MSPs we like to have accurate, current information. We know there have been changes in the profession, on land and river, in the last 5/10 years.

You may have seen general changes in your area, with less or more jobs. If you can tell us about the names of beats, estates, etc, this information will be kept entirely confidential but it helps us to develop a regional picture, as a representative body.

The SGA will only use information to aggregate data in order to provide numerical figures of job losses or gains.

This data is important and will enable us to go to decision makers with a clearer picture of the changing face of gamekeeping/wildlife management/ghillie-ing in Scotland and how legislative change can have a bearing, positive or negative, on employment and opportunity.

Survey questions: (5 minutes maximum)

2/ If yes, provide details (this will be held as confidential)

 

3/ do you know of job gains on your ground or in your area in the past 5/10 years?

 

4/ If yes, provide details (this will be held as confidential)

 

5/ do you know of jobs being phased out or not replaced on your ground or in your area in the past 5/10 years?

 

6/ If yes, provide details (this will be held as confidential)

 

7/If you are aware of job losses, gains or jobs being phased out, generally, but they are not on your ground or in your area in the past 5/10 years, please let us know. Any information will be held as confidential.
