UK-wide Avian flu prevention zone declared

A UK Avian Flu prevention zone (including Scotland) has been declared today (17th Oct) in order to mitigate the risk of disease in poultry and other captive birds. The strict biosecurity measures apply from mid-day and should be read in the link below.
