Job Description
- Family shoot (used to be commercial) - During winter months you’d be required to
feed flighting ponds in the early morning and early evening - 18ish shoot days per year - On shoot
days you’d be required to put out decoys and set up shooting positions
(previous wildfowling experience is not essential)
- Estate worker - General helper around the estate throughout the year;
repairs, strimming etc
- Farmer - Helper required - If you are happy to work with livestock - we have 600
ewes and 100 highland and short-horn cows (Help on Farm not an essential, but offers an increased
wage)
Attributes required
- Shoot - Gun dog (2/3 preferably)
- Keen to learn Duck & Goose calling –
- Shotgun/Firearm License
- Estate worker - Works well with others
- Farmer - some experience - able to drive tractor (0r keen to learn)
- Full UK Driving License
- Punctual/Reliable (ponds must be fed on time every day)
