The principal part of the job is deer management; the secondary need
is to manage a large area of moorland for grouse.
Applicants should have good deer stalking
experience and/or grouse keepering experience. Applicants should also have good ‘client skills’, be
organised and tidy. Above all, applicants should display enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and
deliver. For such an applicant, who currently has inadequate experience, there would be
training.
Candidates must have a clean driver’s licence, firearms and shotgun certificates, and
at least 5 years relevant experience.
