GROUSE KEEPER REQUIRED FOR GLENAVON ESTATE

Prestigious, multi-disciplined 40,000 acre estate wishes to appoint a grouse keeper.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to manage and develop their own grouse moor beat under the direction of the Head Keeper and will also undertake deer stalking and general estate duties. They will join an experienced team on one of Scotland’s top grouse moors. Applicants must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and appropriate qualifications.

Head Gamekeeper, Perthshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious head keeper on a very successful low ground shoot on a private estate in Perthshire. The post is available from 1st February 2020. Both fallow and roe stalking is also required.

Applicants must have full UK driving licence, valid firearms and shotgun certificates. ATV Sit Astride, chainsaw and pesticide certification also desirable.

Full time opportunity for game keeper/ shepherd required on mixed sporting estate and upland farm in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gamekeeper/Shepherd to take on the challenge of a mixed family shoot as well as managing a flock of some 650 blackface & cheviot ewe. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the shoot as well as managing the flock and general estate work. The ideal candidate will have both farm management, shepherding & gamekeeping experience.

Semi-professional 42 year old Dutch hunter is looking for a work and learning possibility in Scotland.

20 years of hunting experiment in Europe, mostly Red, Roe and wild boar, speaking 3 languages (English, German and Dutch), ATV /Argo experience, experienced with agriculture machines and cattle, DSC 1 & 2

Owning my own company for the last 5 years, Pest control for the Dutch government Specialty: Roe deer, Foxes, rabbits and geese.

Available for estate, keepering, boat, caretaking or lodge work – 63 year old Englishman with experience of nine stag seasons (and two hind seasons) on six different highland estates as ponyman, walking ghillie, Argo/quad/Hagglunds driver. Some sheep, cattle and grouse experience – also maintenance, lodge, kitchen, housekeeping and bar work. Full driving licence (7.5 tonne and trailer), FAC, DSC1, Argo ticket, RYA Powerboat 2, Emergency First Aid at Work, Food Safety 2. Excellent communication and customer facing skills. Any temporary or permanent employment in the highlands with self-contained non-shared accommodation considered. Recently graduated Elmwood College Gamekeeping Student - Position Wanted

Recently graduated Elmwood College student where he was studying gamekeeping

From college he gained qualifications and valuable experience in the gamekeeping industry. He gained his Safe Shot qualification, Deer Biology and Quarry Species. He also gained experience in Deer Stalking, caring for and feeding pheasants and also running our own shoot on our estate. Also through this he has gained good communication skills and confidence.
