A family farm in Speyside is looking for help running a small pheasant shoot and also with livestock handling/General farm work.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring keeper with a basic knowledge to spread their wings and prove they are ready to take on the responsibility of a more demanding role.

This is a fixed term appointment for a maximum of two years. The successful candidate must be keen, motivated and have a proven track record working not only as part of a team but also without supervision.

Training will be provided but knowledge of poult/pheasant management is vital. House will be provided if required.

We require a young, motivated gamekeeper to work under our headkeeper on our commercial Pheasant and Partridge shoot in the Scottish Borders. The successful applicant would also be responsible for keepering a small private beat as well as contributing towards hatchery and game rearing duties.

The employment package will be commensurate with suitability and experience.

This will be an excellent opportunity to gain experience, skills and qualifications. An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a single handed Keeper to take charge of the game shooting, habitat management and oversee the fishings on the River Stinchar.

We are looking for an experienced ‘hands on’ keeper to build on this well-established shoot. This is a prestigious position and the successful candidate must have a proven track record of showing driven game at a high standard.

Applicant must have extensive knowledge of the rearing and releasing of Game birds.

Role to include overseeing of Shoot programme and day-to-day management of the shoot, which includes 20 Driven days and numerous Walked-up days. To assist the rearing of birds on the Estates game farm. Hands on approach and to report to the Estate Manager on a daily basis.

Islay Estates Company is looking for an experienced, energetic and highly skilled gamekeeper to work as part of the team delivering world class sport and environmental management.
The job will involve managing deer on one of the beats on Islay Estates, running a low ground shoot, trout and salmon fishing, vermin control, working as part of a team and contributing widely to the Estate.
