SGA PHOTO COMPETITION WINNER REVEALED

The Scottish Gamekeepers Association is delighted to announce that the winner of the 2012 SGA Photo competition is Mike Guild of Bankfoot.
Judges received some striking images covering diverse subjects from owls to juvenile deer stalkers and even adders!
However, after much deliberation, Mike's image of one of his dogs in the frosted winter bracken was voted the outright winner.
The SGA would like to thank everyone who entered the competition this year and have also handed on the file of short-listed images to the SGA calendar editors so they can select the photos which will be used in the 2013 official calendar.
If you are one of those lucky snappers, we will let you know in due course.
"Mike's image was a stand-out in the end because it is one of those special shots that really capture a moment in time.
"The frosted fronds of bracken provide a lovely backdrop and you can almost feel the chill in the air," said a representative from the judging panel.
Mike receives a year's free subscription to the SGA plus a tie, cap and polo shirt.
His winning image will also appear in the 2013 SGA calendar.
Mike should mail info@scottishgamekeepers.co.uk to claim his prize or call the office on 01738 587 515.
