The joys of modern communications.

I ordered some memory cards for my camera on- line which came by parcel force. No one was here to sign for the small package so they were handed into our local post office.

Many gamekeepers and stalkers will be having a well deserved rest after spending some very long days and nights working throughout the season and there is only a small window before it starts all over again.

Game & Wildlife issues

In this section, we've assembled short papers on a number of game & wildlife issues which affect keepering or which contrast practices in different sectors. These are intended to provide a different perspective on current land management issues to the views often portrayed in the media. It is all too convenient to blame a decline in key bird populations on wildlife crime. The SGA acknowledges and fight hard to reduce such instances. At the same time, we must all accept that in our increasingly crowded landscape, with competing land use interests and impacts - from wind farm development through to walking access - we need to react to all possibilities in the effort to preserve and enhance our native species.
